Hey, kid! Have you been working hard to hone your artistic skills in a certain area? Maybe you make amazing beaded jewelry, funky keychains, impressive sculptures or eye-catching paintings…whatever it is, listen up!
We’re gathering KID ARTISANS for our first annual ARTplay Holiday Market on Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00-12:00. This is going to be a fun, festive event where people can shop for and create one-of-a-kind holiday gifts for all of their favorite people. We’ll have complementary hot cocoa and holiday music, along with GLAZE+FIRE pottery painting, Wild Lab Bakery treats, our very own ARTplay gift shop, and of course - several awesome kid entrepreneurs selling handmade goods of their own. This is going to be fun!
Space is limited and we’d like to be sure there is a broad range of goods offered, so we’re asking any kids that are interested in being a seller to submit a bit of information about what they make in advance. The deadline to apply is Sunday, November 12. There will be a $10 fee to participate (which will be donated to the Eastern Kentucky Foster Care System); kid makers will keep 100% of their sales at the event.
We will include as many of our talented friends as possible, so please don’t be shy - submit your info so that you can make some extra cash for the holidays. Submission deadline has passed. Join us next year!
