ASSISTANT STUDIO MANAGER(hiring ASAP):
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and Assistant Teacher + Manager to help support daily studio operations and our teaching team.
Schedule/Flexible
🕘 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🕚 Friday: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM + Some Weekends and Evenings
Responsibilities
Support daily studio operations and class flow
Assist with scheduling, enrollment, and parent communication
Help manage studio setup, cleanup, and supplies
Support instructor during classes and lead some classes on own too
Assist with camps, parties, and special events as needed
Experience with Social Media + Canva
Qualifications
Experience working with young children (ages 1-10)
Strong understanding of PROCESS BASED art and ARTplay’s mission
Organized, dependable, flexible, big ideas
Friendly and professional with families
Ability to multitask in a creative, fast-paced environment
Love for art, creativity, and kids

ELEMENTARY afterschool ART TEACHER
We believe art is about exploration, expression, and confidence—not perfection or products. Our studio nurtures creativity through open-ended materials, thoughtful prompts, and a warm, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead engaging, process-based art classes for ages 6–12
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression
• Prepare and organize art materials and studio space
• Support students with positive guidance and enthusiasm
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inspiring classroom environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Loves working with children and tweens
• Values process art over step-by-step projects
• Is patient, encouraging, and reliable
• Has experience with art, education, childcare, or creative fields
• Is comfortable guiding groups and adapting activities for different ages
Schedule & Details:
• Part-time (afternoons, weekends, or camps depending on season)
• Hourly pay based on experience
• Training provided in our studio philosophy and curriculum

WEEKEND BIRTHDAY PARTY LEAD (as needed)
ARTplay is looking for a creative, energetic, and kid-loving Art Teacher to lead weekend birthday parties in our process-based children’s art studio!
Our parties are joyful, colorful, and focused on creative exploration—not perfect projects. If you love working with kids and bringing fun, low-pressure art experiences to life, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead 1.5–2 hour art birthday parties for ages 2–10
• Guide children through open-ended, process-based art activities
• Set up and clean up materials before and after parties
• Create a fun, welcoming, and stress-free experience for kids and parents
• Keep energy high while maintaining a calm, organized environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Loves working with children and groups
• Is upbeat, reliable, and confident leading activities
• Enjoys mess, creativity, and flexibility
• Has experience with art, childcare, education, camps, or parties (experience helpful but not required)
• Is available weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Details:
• Part-time, weekend-only position, as needed/flex
• Parties typically held Friday evening, Saturday + SUnday early mornings and afternoons
• Training provided in our party flow and process-art approach
• Hourly pay + gratuity
