SUMMER ART TEACHER ASSISTANT
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and Assistant Teacher for SUMMER CAMP 2026!
Schedule/Flexible
🕘 Monday- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
🕚 Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Support daily studio operations and class/camp flow
Help manage studio setup, cleanup, and supplies
Support instructor during classes and lead some classes on own too
Assist with camps, Friday parent/child classes, and some Saturday events as needed
Experience with CHILDREN + ART a MUST! :)
Qualifications
Experience working with young children (ages 1-10)
Strong understanding of PROCESS BASED art and ARTplay’s mission
Organized, dependable, flexible, big ideas
Friendly and professional with families
Ability to multitask in a creative, fast-paced environment in the summer heat
Love for art, creativity, and kids

WEEKEND BIRTHDAY PARTY LEAD (as needed)
ARTplay is looking for a creative, energetic, and kid-loving Art Teacher to lead weekend birthday parties in our process-based children’s art studio!
Our parties are joyful, colorful, and focused on creative exploration—not perfect projects. If you love working with kids and bringing fun, low-pressure art experiences to life, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead 1.5–2 hour art birthday parties for ages 2–10
• Guide children through open-ended, process-based art activities
• Set up and clean up materials before and after parties
• Create a fun, welcoming, and stress-free experience for kids and parents
• Keep energy high while maintaining a calm, organized environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Loves working with children and groups
• Is upbeat, reliable, and confident leading activities
• Enjoys mess, creativity, and flexibility
• Has experience with art, childcare, education, camps, or parties (experience helpful but not required)
• Is available weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Details:
• Part-time, weekend-only position, as needed/flex
• Parties typically held Friday evening, Saturday + SUnday early mornings and afternoons
• Training provided in our party flow and process-art approach
• Hourly pay + gratuity
